Sorbents

Sorbents are materials designed to absorb and retain oil, making them useful for spill control and clean-up on water and other surfaces. Oil-selective sorbents are designed to take up hydrocarbons while repelling water, allowing them to remain effective when used in marine and wet environments. Available in different forms and sizes, they can be used to contain smaller spills, collect residual oil and support clean-up in areas where other recovery equipment may not be practical.
