Jellyfish barriers are floating systems designed to restrict the movement of jellyfish into designated areas of coastal and marine waters. A submerged barrier extends below the surface to create a protected zone while remaining suited to the surrounding marine environment. These systems can be used around beaches, swimming areas, water intakes and other locations where the presence of jellyfish may interfere with normal use or operations. The barrier configuration can be adapted to the site and expected water conditions.
